What size baking dish/how many servings does this make? Looking at the ingredients I assume this is smaller than the average 9x13in pan of brownies?

Great question! Yep . . . this is a smaller batch. We used an 8x8in square silicone mold, which gives you about 9–12 brownies depending on how you slice them (and how generous you're feeling 😄).

I finally tried them today and they're fabulous. So gooey, moist, and tastier than I expected! Plopped a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top while it was still warm, and mmmmm! 😋 Only change I think I'd make is to use a blender. My food processor didn't make it as creamy as I expected. Highly recommend!

Yesss! Love hearing this. Warm brownies with a scoop of vanilla? That’s dessert done right. Great note on the blender too . . . it can definitely help if you’re after that extra creamy texture. So glad you gave them a try (and shared your scoop!).

Yes. In fact, So Delicious Vanilla Bean, which I really love, so it's a great combo. 😊

I help educate medical students about the benefits of plant based diets by teaching them how to cook. Black bean brownies are one of the first recipes we make together. I love how their scepticism changes to delight in the space of 30 mins baking time 😆😊😋

That’s amazing! What a brilliant way to plant seeds. Nothing like a fudgy brownie to win hearts and challenge nutrition dogma in under 30 minutes.

Great way to get in some protein and fiber! I don't know who the first person was that thought, "I should add beans to this dessert", but kudos to them!

Seriously . . . give that person a medal and a mixing bowl. We’re just grateful they trusted the bean. Protein, fiber, and fudgy joy in every bite!
